Growing up in the auto parts business of Indiana, I’ve always had a keen interest in cars from the '60s. I graduated from high school in 1964 and then served in the Navy for two years. I then attended and graduated from Ball State University and continued my involvement with the auto parts business. Eventually, I owned and operated two auto parts stores in my hometown of Muncie.
During the late '70s and '80s, interest in the American Muscle Car started to emerge. As a hobby over the years, I purchased and restored a 1969 COPO 427 Camaro, a 1969 Chevelle SS396/375HP, a couple of 1969 Z/28's and a 1970 LS6 Chevelle. At that time, the reproduction parts business was starting to flourish. Small unique parts mainly underneath the hood were in demand. So in 1989, I created Details Wholesale Supply to sell 1957-1975 GM muscle car restoration parts.
We started with fasteners, hoses, and various small parts under the hood. Then we gradually expanded to more parts as the needs arose. Almost 36 years later, we continue to sell wholesale to dealers only across the country. If you're a dealer and would like a catalog, please click here!
